Nur Merang Inn Resort

The rooms were fine, if a little old and unremarkable, and I'd suggest improving the bathroom. Still, everything else about the resort was excellent, and I'd recommend it to couples and families. The hosts were very friendly and helpful. We left our car at the resort while going to Merang jetty. Staff gave us a car pool ride there, and after we returned from redang island, we called and they picked us up and took us back to the hotel and our car. They helped us a lot. Thanks.

We chose this place because it was close to merang jetty for an early morning boat to Redang island. We booked three nights, but had to cancel the last two because I couldn't sleep and was worried ants might get into my ears. I ended up killing so many ants, bugs and mosquitoes. The beds were dirty and smelled bad, and it looked like the sheets and bed covers hadn't been washed in years. There were bugs and ants everywhere, a small cockroach jumped on me, and mosquitoes too. The bathroom was horrible, dirty and full of ants, like it hadn't been cleaned. The rug looked like it had never been vacuumed, and the floors were dirty enough that we wore slippers in the bedroom. So sad and disappointed. Sorry to say, it wasn't worth staying here.

A comfortable, affordable place near the sea. It suits tourists who plan to spend their time out and about instead of staying in the hotel.

Lovely place, and the beach is close enough to walk to from the room.
