OYO 90488 Juru Hotel

At checkout, the staff member again behaved negatively, which I didn't find appropriate for hotel staff. This followed a disappointing check-in on October 17, 2025, at around 3:00 pm. The front desk worker, whom I believed to be a foreign individual, didn't smile, looked unpleasant, and came across as indifferent. They spoke without looking at me and seemed more focused on their phone. I found the manner rude and unprofessional. Later, at around 8:00 pm, the counter called to ask why there were three people in my room. I explained that the third person was just visiting, but the staff member didn't seem satisfied. I questioned why they were asking, since 8:00 pm is still early. I could understand a concern if it were late at night, after 10:00 or 12:00 a.m., but not then. The staff member insisted this was a rule on the booking platform. When I asked them to show it to me, they couldn't, because there was no such policy. I felt this was unprofessional and an invasion of customer privacy and rights. I sincerely hope management takes this seriously so similar incidents don't happen again.

The building and its surroundings may not give you that typical hotel look, but I slept really well because the bed was so comfortable. That's what matters most to me. There's also a Thai restaurant nearby with lots of dishes I personally like.

There was no chair or writing table, and for the money, the comfort and value were poor. The receptionist left a very bad impression too. The foreign worker seemed improperly trained and was dressed inappropriately.
