Bayu Sintok Motel by OYO Rooms

My booking was paid for, but the hotel said it had been double booked. Now my money is gone.

The dated, basic facilities aren't the hotel's main failing. What really lets it down is the operator's lack of initiative and unwillingness to manage the business properly.

There was plenty of room to hang clothes, and the room and bathroom were very clean. The air conditioning worked well, and the shower had hot water. A prayer mat and water heater were provided too. There's an iron and ironing board outside the room, plus a smoking veranda. I paid for a single room, which wasn't too small and worked for a family with two kids. The motel is a two-storey building: ground-floor rooms don't have a TV, while rooms on level 1 do, with Astro channels. There's a grocery shop as well. For a small family, this was a good fit for us, especially since we booked at the last minute.

The bathroom had lots of mold, the room and bathroom smelled bad, and the towels were stained. Cleanliness was very poor, so I wouldn't recommend it for the price. You have to pick up the keys at the grocery shop next to the motel. Management, please improve the service overall.
