E.City Hotel @ One City - Subang Jaya

We booked for five adults for two days and one night and got a very large room with a connecting door. It was clean, extremely comfortable, and affordable. The staff were good, and there was a hairdryer and ironing board. The hotel is opposite the mall, next to a Shell Station, and near the food area. There were some snags: Room 1209 had no door chain, and the cards for Rooms 1209 and 1208 wouldn't scan, so we had to use a spare. Neither room's water heater worked. It's about half an hour to KLCC, a bit far from the city centre. Basement parking is available. Tell the staff before check-out to get the RM3-per-night parking discount.

We had a big family room with two bathrooms, and the place was clean. The staff were friendly and helpful. There's no shower heater, but I was fine with that. It has what you need for a short stay and is great value.

The location made meals easy, with lots of restaurants and convenience stores close by. Staff were polite, attentive, and quick to help whenever we needed something. Our room was clean and well kept, so it was comfortable to rest in. Seed Hotel Subang was a pleasant, hassle-free stay, and I'd be glad to return.

After checking in, I discovered the bath tub water heater was faulty, something neither the hotel nor Agoda had told me when I booked. When I tried to cancel, they kept sending me back and forth between customer service and the hotel for days. Nobody took responsibility, and they eventually refused the cancellation, so I lost all my money. The whole experience with Agoda and the hotel was unacceptable. Agoda's management seemed useless and unprofessional, and I got no help or accountability. Do not book through Agoda or stay at this hotel.
