The Jade Suite was roomy and the place looks stylish, but the room had a strong musty smell. We kept hearing dripping and leaking noises, almost as if there had been flooding upstairs. Mosquitoes got all of us overnight, and the cleanliness was questionable, with dusty, stained, and moldy spots on the wall panels, mirrors, and edges. The towels smelled and felt like old socks, while the mattress was average and the duvet and sheets seemed worn. The location is very central, and the service was warm, friendly, and efficient. There wasn't a buffet breakfast, but they called in the evening with next-day room-service choices. Coffee and tea came only in prepackaged instant form, so we had to boil the water and make them ourselves. For over 300 a night, we expected better quality.

The pool was the standout for me. The design has a good concept and the rooms are large, though the bathrooms have plumbing problems.

Please don't book this poorly maintained, filthy homestay. The roof leaks, the floor felt greasy and dirty, and the toilet wouldn't flush properly. The toilet itself was very dirty, and the bedsheet had dust mites.

The kind admin and housekeeping staff made us feel welcome, and we really liked being so close to the Lake Gardens. We'll definitely come back. Wishing them all the best for 2026!

We stayed in the two-storey Geneva Ruby room, which was very spacious and worked well for our family. The pool is huge, the rooms were clean and cozy, and the staff were really friendly. There's a lovely heritage feel, and Taiping Lake Gardens is only a few minutes away. Highly recommend.
