I've stayed at this hotel many times, but the service this visit was a real letdown. The staff seemed uninterested in helping guests, and basic customer service was lacking. The bellboy was polite and genuinely helpful, though. He was the only one who showed courtesy and made an effort. The rest of the team needs to improve their attitude and service.

The team helped us sort out a problem with our phone provider, and arranged a private driver at a fair price for Tawau Hills Park one day and Cocoa Village the next. They were warm and attentive from the start, which made us feel at home during our two nights at Heritage Hotel in Tawau. Our room was comfortable, spacious and spotless, with complimentary water and snacks each day. The hotel's location also made it easy to explore Tawau, and the stay was good value. I'd definitely recommend it for the friendly, helpful hospitality and convenience.

The location is the one good thing about this hotel. The rooms weren't comfortable or clean, and air from the vents smelled like food from the kitchen. I also spotted a couple of baby cockroaches. I wouldn't recommend staying here unless you really have no other option, unless they improve.

The rooms were clean and cozy, and the hotel is in a great central spot. Staff were extremely helpful and arranged rides for us to Tawau Hills Park and Cocoa Village on separate days. They also welcomed us with snacks and plenty of water for our jungle hike. I couldn't recommend the stay more.

Stayed for seven days and felt very comfortable. The staff were nice and dependable.
