Vista Hotel

We’d come back again. The location is handy, close to restaurants and a grocery store, there’s plenty of parking, and the staff were friendly. Our room was clean and comfortable, with enough space for our family of four, though it wasn’t spacious. It came with a coffee machine and two capsules, two bottles of water, and two 3-in-1 coffees. There’s also a water dispenser downstairs for extra drinking water. The toilet was clean, with a shower area and a bidet, plus toilet paper if you prefer it. There’s a small elevator to the other floors, with the highest being the second floor. It was a unique experience for us, but it moved slowly, so you need some patience.

The staff were all very friendly and well-mannered with guests, and when the air conditioner gave trouble at our early check-in, they offered to move us to a family room at no extra charge. The stay was good, though the electricity sometimes cut out suddenly. Recommended for budget travelers.

The lift was under maintenance, so my sister, who had a knee injury, had to take the stairs. I don’t know whether they have rooms for wheelchair users. In our room, the bathroom floor was raised. The room was quite small, and the floor uneven. The bathroom was clean, but the faucet was stiff and difficult to control.

The bed sheet and pillow cover smell musty, like they haven’t dried properly. It’s a problem every time I stay here. The TV channels were out of order too, and soundproofing is poor in the balcony queen room, where you can hear people chatting in the street. After housekeeping serviced the room, they left my hotel door unlocked. No more next time.
