Good value, and it’s almost beachfront. With no loud pubs nearby, it gets quite quiet at night. There is Wi-Fi, but you can only use it in reception. The major issue during our stay was the muddy, murky tap water, which we couldn’t use. We didn’t have this problem at another place the night before, so I don’t know if heavy rain over several days had affected Tofo overall. I do wish they’d improve the water system, perhaps by installing a filter.

I stayed in one of the huts, just a few metres from the beach. It had a power outlet, dim natural lighting, a fan I didn’t use, and a mosquito net. I didn’t wear shoes at all during my days there. Thank you, Jochen, and Sami, who was super polite. I started travelling in Africa in March, and Pariango has been my favorite place so far. It’s wonderful, and I couldn’t have chosen better. It’s very quiet, but only a couple of blocks from the local market. I recommend eating at the local restaurants, where prices are best and you can support the community. I’d happily have stayed for a month. Thank you so much for everything! ❤️

I visited Pariango motel twice while travelling in Mozambique in October 2025. Both times, everyone was friendly and welcoming. The rooms were nice and clean, and the atmosphere was peaceful. Since the motel is just across from the beach, you can hear the waves.

We camped on the sand in the backyard for five nights and had a wonderful stay. The kitchen was beautifully equipped, and the staff were lovely. The location is perfect, really close to the main road but far enough away to stay quiet and relaxing, even on the beach. We could hear the waves from our tent while we slept. 100% recommend!
