asDunas Lodge

The private suites at asDunas were such a lovely place to unwind, and the lodge itself is beautifully done. We ended our honeymoon there and wished we could have stayed longer. The food was delicious, the cocktails were great, and the staff made the stay feel special. We hope we can return one day.

The staff were especially helpful when my husband had a medical issue, coordinating several last-minute pharmacy trips. Our safari tent was comfortable, and we enjoyed the scenery, meals, cocktails, daily massages, the village tour, and sunset drinks at the Red Dunes. The pool felt a little too cold during our visit, though the ocean was warm even in winter. This was the last stop on our honeymoon and a great place to rest and recharge. I’d definitely recommend staying here.

We loved the food, with Italian recipes made using Mozambican ingredients, and the staff were so kind and organized everything for us, including visits to the archipelago islands and kite surfing lessons. The lodge is all-inclusive, with a massage each day and private beach access. Our suite felt like a dream, with its ocean view and private pool, and the location gave us a view we could enjoy all day. One of the most incredible stays of my life.

We spent four nights there in November 24, and every staff member was friendly and attentive from beginning to end. The daily massages were a real treat, and the food was excellent. My husband and I had an incredible stay. I’d recommend Asdunas to anyone traveling to Mozambique.
