Polana Serena Hotel

Breakfast was excellent, and the rooms are large and comfortable. The hotel is a little old-fashioned, with some minor renovations needed, and the Wi-Fi was fast. At the Verandah restaurant, I had one excellent dinner and one below-average one. Overall, a very positive experience.

We spent a lovely afternoon with good food and people around us. The staff made the experience even better with great service. The ocean view is wonderful, and walking through the doors feels like stepping into an elegant earlier time. You can almost picture the conversations on the terraces overlooking the Indian Ocean. Definitely worth a visit.

Tea time was one of my favorite parts of staying at Hotel Polana. It was delicious and had such a cozy, relaxing feel that I’d happily do it again. The meals were also full of flavor, thoughtfully prepared and nicely presented. The hotel’s décor has a lovely mix of history, comfort, and elegance, and the atmosphere feels welcoming as well as luxurious. I was very happy there, with a peaceful, breathtaking view adding to the stay. I can’t think of anything to complain about. It was a 5-star experience for me, and I’m already looking forward to returning. Highly recommended.

A man was brutally murdered at this hotel yesterday. Given the news, I asked about increased security when I tried to make a reservation. They denied that anything had happened, as if the incident had never taken place.
