Kalahari Anib Lodge Camping2Go is situated on the eastern fringes of Namibia in the Kalahari Desert, 33. 5 km from the city of Mariental. The tented camp offers comfortable accommodation, where guests can relax around a cosy campfire and enjoy the surroundings. Accommodation is offered in 4 permanent, structured tents that have been set up close to Kalahari Anib Lodge. Each tent is equipped with 4 single beds, an en-suite bathroom with a shower, and a kitchen on the outside terrace, equipped with a fridge, stove, sink, necessary cooking utensils, and cutlery. There is also an outside braai, as well as a firepit. Guests can make use of the facilities at Kalahari Anib Lodge, where meals can be enjoyed at the restaurant, or guests can take a dip in one of the pools or partake in any lodge activities. The lodge is an ideal stopover for those traveling between Windhoek and the south, or continuing to the Kgalagadi Transfrontier Park.

The units are roomy, have everything you need, and are serviced every day. It’s a semi-camping stay, close to the gate at Etosha. There’s a good restaurant on site and a small, handy shop nearby. We really enjoyed it, you can’t go wrong.

The service was superb, and the surroundings are beautiful. We had a great time. The tented camps are well equipped and the beds are really comfortable. We’ll definitely be back.

A nice place to stop, and we got to go on a very enjoyable safari. Just be aware that July nights are cold, it was 1°C.

We were after a campsite, but there are only three here, compared with eight or nine Camping2go glamping pitches, which seem more profitable for them. In the end, the friendly receptionist talked us into booking one. Almost everything was clean and intact, but the tent zipper was broken when we opened it. It was quite hot, so we tried the portable air conditioner and quickly switched it off. It stank, the filter was clogged, and the unit inside was filthy. There was also an unidentifiable jerrycan behind the bed, and we had no idea what it was for. This isn’t a place for campers looking to enjoy nature.
