The staff were professional and quick, though they’re not used to a large group at once, so check with them if you’re coming with one. There’s coffee for everyone in the morning, including espresso, hot chocolate and tea. They also provide mosquito nets, even though there were barely any mosquitoes when we visited on 2018/12/28, and they have 'peaceful sleep' as well. The small meals were perfect, the rooms were excellent, and the bar service was relaxing. The rides were awesome. One thing, the showers take a long time to warm up.

A sunset from the reserve is hard to beat. We rode out in a jeep, climbed a steep hill, then stood about 200m above the plains with wine in hand as the sun went down. The Farmstead also has a great Braai, pool and bar, plus balmy weather, night skies and excellent service. Do visit.

A peaceful day on the farm, with good food and welcoming staff. And the coffee bar is the best.

Back for my third visit to this farmhouse guesthouse. The service is good, and the staff are friendly. There’s a nice pool, but not many activities, so bring a good book.
