The location is great and the rooms are spacious, but the dinner was poor. I ordered fillet and it came very thin and well done instead of medium. In the middle of the night, security woke me by trying to enter my room to check whether I’d checked in. I’ve stayed at Marriots before, and this isn’t Marriot standard.

For 1600 Na$, this was an impressively bad hotel room. It was freezing, with no heating option, and the bathroom light still didn’t work after someone tried to repair it. The bathroom vent roared, and the shower soap was empty. There was no key card, so every time I needed to get to my room I had to get someone from reception. It felt like a rest camp at a four star price. The rest of the hotel looked pretty well maintained, and cleanliness was spotless.

The staff were lovely, polite, and helpful, and breakfast was great. I only had breakfast there and really enjoyed it. The place is so outdated that the owner needs to start renovations. Housekeeping also needs to clean under the toilet seat, where urine had accumulated. It was disgusting.

My room had some rainwater leaking through the roof. The place is near Ondangwa airport, and both the breakfast and staff service were very nice.

The WiFi was reasonably good, and I especially liked the swimming pool in the evening when nobody was using it. The place was clean and the staff friendly. I didn’t like the single bedroom, though, because I could hear movement and people talking in the next room. There was no fridge in the room I was booked into.
