The family room was spacious and comfortable, and the atmosphere felt warm and inviting. Namib Guesthouse made us feel welcome straight away, and we appreciated the thoughtful tips and local advice.

We stayed at Namib Guesthouse in August 2025 and had a great experience. The location is handy, just a few minutes’ walk to Swakopmund city center, and they provide safe parking. Breakfast was plentiful and tasty. The rooms were spacious and well equipped, and the friendly staff tried to help with every need, including restaurant bookings. We’d definitely recommend staying here.

Breakfast was high quality, with good strong coffee, and the staff were friendly and very helpful with activity bookings. We had an amazing stay at Namib Guesthouse and can highly recommend it.

The staff were so friendly and attentive, always ready to help with anything. Breakfast was great, especially the eggs made fresh to order. We stayed two nights in a standard room, which was a good size and had plenty of storage for unpacking. There’s also a small lounge outside the rooms. A nice little guest house right in central Swakopmund.

The muffins at breakfast deserve a special mention, and the rest of the breakfast was delicious too. I stayed three nights at the Namib Guesthouse and felt very welcome. The staff were lovely, the rooms were cute and comfortable, and the location was great. I’d happily recommend the Namib Guesthouse to anyone visiting Swakopmund.
