A peaceful, lovely place. The staff were incredibly accommodating, and I'd happily come back.

The owners run a clean, pleasant place in a quiet residential area, with a lovely garden that was kept tidy. I liked the little touches, like sherry waiting in the room and a good selection of cheeses at breakfast. There's also an honesty bar. Those details made a real difference, even compared with luxury lodges. Definitely recommend it.

The service was so good I'd give it six stars if I could. Our host was polite and welcoming, and the staff were attentive and hands-on. She really went out of her way to make us comfortable.

The owner and staff made us feel very welcome, and the rooms were clean. Breakfast was great, especially the delicious homemade jams. It's a lovely base for enjoying activities nearby.

There was a lovely garden, and a security guard was on hand. Breakfast was modest but fine. This is a small guesthouse outside Swakopmund's city center, so having your own car is useful. My ground-floor room was on the small, dark side, though it had what I needed: shower gel, shampoo, a hairdryer, safe, TV and working internet. The shower had warm water, but the pressure could have been stronger.
