Booking a room at the last minute worked out well, though there wasn't much in the way of amenities. Our room had no TV or fridge. Breakfast was okay, but when we asked for a fried egg, they said they were only serving scrambled that morning.

We came for a night during a multi-day safari and were made to feel spoiled. The owners were kind, the decor had charm, and the beds were very comfortable. Breakfast was included, delicious, and had plenty of choices.

We first booked one night at The Residence at Villa Wiese, planning to head to Henties Bay and decide what to do after that. The place was so good that after our time in Henties, we were lucky enough to book Villa Wiese again. The building is amazing, everything was clean and organised, and the staff were courteous. There was good security for our vehicle, including a very kind guard. Breakfast was very good, and the breakfast area was pleasant. We also made friends with other guests and the owners. As locals in Namibia, we now know where our little paradise is when we return to the coast: Swakopmund. It's a 12min walk to the seaside, and the neighbourhood feels safe. Recommend without hesitation.

The breakfast spread had a bit of everything, including fresh bread made locally. Service and atmosphere were friendly, and they were accommodating and pet friendly. We could walk everywhere, including to Mole beach and Spar. You can hear noise through the walls from the main road nearby. It didn't spoil our stay, though, and other guests seemed considerate about keeping the noise down. We loved it and would stay again.
