The friendly, helpful staff are what I remember most from our night at this lovely hotel in Windhoek. We were heading off on our travels the next day, and it was a fabulous start to the holiday.

We were glad we stayed here at the start of our safari. There were four of us, with kids aged 14 and 11, and the property and fantastic service made us wish we could have stayed longer.

Galton House gave us a peaceful place to rest after a day out exploring. It's in a quiet area, and the serene surroundings made for a good night's sleep. The staff were the real highlight, friendly and attentive from the moment we arrived, always ready to help. It was a delightful stay with excellent service in a calm setting.

We had a pleasant stay in Family before leaving Windhoek. The rooms were beautiful and comfortable, and the staff were friendly and helpful. It's in a quiet spot up in the hills, though still not far from downtown. The restaurant was excellent. My children enjoyed the swimming pool, even though the water was a bit cold at the time. Wi-Fi worked well in the central area but was weak in the rooms.

With only 9 rooms, this small boutique bed and breakfast has a really personal feel. The rooms were nice and clean, and the service was awesome. Meals are made to your liking, with lots of personal touches.
