Camas Hotels

There’s a nice gym and pool, and the staff are helpful and nice. The hotel building looks good, and there’s reasonable parking. My room’s AC had a problem, and I hope they fixed it before another guest was inconvenienced. They could use an elevator, and the door panel with the doorbell and DND buttons should actually work instead of just being decorative. Be careful with the map location, since it may direct you to a blocked road. I think it’s a nice hotel.

It’s comfortable and quiet, though at times it can feel eerily still. The road leading in isn’t very good.

The peaceful, serene setting makes this a very nice hotel, and the surrounding area feels welcoming. The rooms are tidy, well arranged, and have modern facilities. I didn’t even know Abeokuta had hotels this good. The well-trained staff make guests feel at home. Kudos to management for a job well done.

The room was neat and I liked the setup, but I can’t return to Camas hotel unless some things are properly addressed. The roads leading there are terrible. Check-in was said to be at 2 pm, even though my room was already vacant and clean, and I was told I’d be charged 5,000 naira to arrive earlier. I’ve never seen that elsewhere. Food is too expensive, including a small bottle of nestle water at 500 naira. Three of us guests were eating in the restaurant at the same time, which made me think the hotel is losing business to outside restaurants. They’d do better with enough staff and lower food and water prices, so more guests would eat there. Only one staff member answered the intercom for reception, kitchen/restaurant, and bar, and that same person also did room service. He was a hardworking, gentle young man, but I see that as an imposition by the hotel management. Just my personal experience.
