Grand Style Guest House

The food is 💯, and there’s a little pool by the bar that’s always great. From outside, you might not get the feeling, but once you’re in, it’s such a serene and beautiful place. I’d visit again!

The complimentary breakfast was great, the WiFi was fast, and the service in general was okay. The hotel is also not far from the main road. I wish smoking weren’t allowed in the rooms. There should be a place for smokers, since some of us don’t smoke or like the smell. The room across from mine always smelled of cigarettes, which was quite disturbing.

The surroundings are nice, the rooms are affordable, and the reception is okay. Power outages still happen, and although there’s a standby generator, it needs to rest for a while. They should improve how guest cars are arranged for cleaning, and sort out the breakfast issue too.

Two days after my wedding, I was back in my hometown, Abeokuta, to see the legendary Olumo Rock. We couldn’t make it back to Lagos that same day, so I stayed here for the night. The room was decent. I didn’t try the food, so I can’t say much about the service.
