Months after they told us our outstanding balance wasn't refundable but could be used another time with no deadline or expiry, I contacted them to use it. The person replying then said it had expired and that this wasn't their fault. They kept asking us for proof and other things, as if they had no records, even after we'd provided proof. Then they stopped responding. I find that very rude and a form of cheating.

One of the best and most luxurious hotels in garki abuja, with nice comfort and good service.

I stayed at ESTRELLA HOTEL and found it unsafe, unsanitary, and badly managed. I've stayed in hotels in 39 countries, and this was the worst by far. If you value safety, comfort, and peace of mind, I'd avoid it, especially if traveling from abroad. The bathrooms smelled of sewage and were unhygienic. Some nights there was no running water or hot water, and I was given a bucket to bathe. The kitchen was filthy, the food after breakfast was disgusting and inedible, and breakfast was consistently unavailable even when I arrived early. A cleaner stole $200 from my room and, I believe, deliberately left the door open to create confusion. When confronted, he avoided accountability, made excuses, and lied about where he'd been. The owner, whom staff call the chairman, promised to investigate but didn't follow through. He said he'd called the police, but my own connections confirmed no report had been filed. They said the cleaner was being held at the station, yet the next day I found him cleaning another guest's room. There are no working CCTV cameras, as far as I could see; they seemed purely decorative. They couldn't provide footage and, in my view, lied to cover up the failure. The owner was a liar, manipulator, and enabler, and I believe he intimidates staff and coerces them to lie about problems. Staff are severely underpaid, which I believe puts guests at risk of theft or other misconduct. Be wary of old reviews: many positive ones are from when the hotel was managed by Bon Hotel. It is no longer under their management, and I think the current ownership is a disaster. The most recent glowing review is from a paid content creator, so don't be fooled by what I see as fake, misleading testimonials.

The location made it easy to get to the city's main attractions, and the service was superb. Everyone, from the front desk to the restaurant staff, was friendly, professional, and ready to help. My room was comfortable, with a plush bed and high-quality linens, and I slept well. It was also well insulated from outside noise. The whole hotel, including the lobby and rooms, looked impeccably clean and well maintained; housekeeping kept everything tidy and fresh. There were plenty of amenities: a well equipped fitness center, a pool area where I could relax, and complimentary Wi-Fi that was fast and reliable. The on-site restaurant had delicious meals and a varied menu for different tastes. My stay at Estrella Boutique Hotel was memorable, and I'd recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

The rooftop pool has breathtaking city views, and there's also a fitness centre and an on-site restaurant. BON Hotel Boutique Garki 2 is conveniently located in the heart of Abuja, Nigeria, and I'd recommend it for a luxurious, memorable stay. From the beautifully appointed rooms and elegant furnishings to the impeccable service, the attention to detail was clear throughout. Walking in felt like stepping into a world of luxury and sophistication.
