Godfather's Place

The pepper soups are especially good, and the lodging is affordable. I also liked the stage facing all sides of the sit-out, and the place is nice for relaxing. The kitchen serves great-tasting food, and the very spacious, secure parking means I don’t worry about my car getting brushed.

I’d read all the positive reviews and decided to stay at Godfather. I got to Abuja around midnight and went straight there. Room 102 was the only one available, but it smelled bad. I asked the receptionist about it, and she said she had a cold and couldn’t smell anything. Then she stepped into a puddle coming from under the bed and called someone to mop the room. I stayed in the room, but couldn’t sleep because loud music kept blasting from next door. Hmmmmn. Godfather isn’t what it used to be anymore. A terrible experience…!

I like the well-arranged surroundings and arena, and there’s plenty of secure parking. The drinks are fairly priced, and the karaoke is awesome. It’s a nice place to visit and sit out.

Across from Danata Estate, this is a laid-back spot for sitting out in the evening and having drinks. There’s a big parking area and plenty of drink choices. People come to watch a live match, chat over a drink, and head out. The structure and service could still improve, but it’s good for what they charge.
