Hiltons Bellaire

The rooftop and underground bars are nice places to relax or get some work done, but I wouldn't stay here again. The rooms were too small for the price, and mine was dirty. I had to kill a cockroach in the bathroom, and the wardrobe was really dirty too. The heater wasn't working, some ground-floor rooms had electrical problems, and the first floor had a blackout. Some rooms were also missing things like a fridge and intercom. The exterior looks beautiful, but the inside and maintenance don't match. They told me it was a new hotel, which surprised me because it already seemed old from the poor upkeep. I'd only come here for a drink and leave, not lodge.

During my first and last stay, I went two hours without electricity, and they said you only get about four hours of power in a whole 24-hour day. Everyone was left in the dark. When I asked what was going on, I was told the person in charge wasn't around. I wouldn't advise the public to spend their money here. I also suspect the positive reviews are from workers.

The rooms were really clean, and the facilities are top notch. The staff are friendly and go out of their way to make the stay enjoyable. It's a superb hotel, and I'd recommend it to anyone visiting Abuja.

A really relaxing setting, very good for unwinding.
