The staff were welcoming and attentive, and my suite was clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully designed. Everything went smoothly, and I had a really relaxing stay. I’d definitely come back.

The rooms need cleaning. Insects flying around made it impossible to sleep peacefully.

I needed somewhere to stay overnight after arriving from the airport, before continuing my journey the next day, and booked based on the room pictures online. What I found was nothing like those photos. The receptionist took me to what I can only describe as a dungeon, and the place was a complete mess. I can’t understand how anyone could offer that as a room for someone to stay in. I’ve attached photos of the room and the road leading there. The road to the hotel was terrible, with a ditch, and the gated street itself was in very bad shape. It looked like a godforsaken place, and I was scared as I went in. I asked the receptionist for even a partial refund so I could go somewhere else, but got a firm no. The manager came when I asked to speak with him. He was polite, but still refused. I couldn’t sleep there. It felt like a death trap, so I left for somewhere else and lost the money I’d paid. This was the worst hotel or place I’ve ever seen, and I’m at a loss to understand why Nigerians would be so dubious. It’s sad. I strongly advise people to avoid this place for their own good. I fell for what I see as a big scam, and I’m warning others not to. You have been warned.

My driver suggested the place when I arrived in Abuja, so I went to check it out. By the time we got there, though, all the rooms were booked or occupied, and we had to turn around. The vicinity looked nice, with a lovely environment and tasteful decor. Maybe next time.
