Laropa Suites and Apartments

It's a nice place so far, and a few staff are trying to make it work, but there's plenty to improve. The staff and their uniforms need to be better arranged. Hopefully the facilities will be new and improved when I visit again.

The room I had last night with my family was disappointing, with dirty walls, and we had to get hot water in a bucket. I later learned that ours was the only room with that problem. They need to step up, because I love this hotel. My whole extended family stayed there during my wedding.

I only visited, so I can't say what staying there is like. The place was quiet, which seems ideal if you want to avoid crowds. I was impressed by what I saw. There's a gym and spa, and you can reach the spa with a quick intercom call. Guests get complimentary breakfast, though there's no pool. I hope to stay there next time I'm in Abuja.

The generator comes on whenever they feel like it, leaving guests to sweat in their rooms. The mosquitoes are bad, and the fridge keeps spoiling food. TV channels seem to be set to what the manager and staff want, especially AM epic, which is the only station they leave clear. There's always one complaint or another, and after you've paid, they make you feel as though your money means nothing. I've never dealt with a more incompetent hotel or more useless management and staff. It's a stupid place to stay.
