The rooms were clean, and the location is about the only other thing this hotel has going for it. Everything else made this the worst hotel stay I've had. I was here for a work trip for over a week, and the staff, service, and food were seriously poor. Breakfast was awful: just bread and egg, with no butter or anything to go with it. I ate it once, on the first day, then gave up. They never replaced my teacups, and when I called for one, they said they'd run out, so I couldn't have tea. Staff also take loud personal calls in the restaurant and lobby, and the security guards leave you to work out how to open the gate yourself. My colleague and I were meant to have side-by-side rooms. We dropped our bags at 1pm, came back at 10pm, and only one room was ready. There weren't enough keycards either, so every time we needed to get back in, someone at the front desk had to open the door with a master key. One of my room lights was faulty. I asked every day for a repair during my 7-day stay, but it was never fixed. When I asked for an iron, the laundryman sent to my room said they couldn't provide one because I might take business away from the hotel laundry. The staff are so poorly trained and clueless. Management needs a complete overhaul and proper hospitality training. Aside from the location and clean rooms, it's a terrible place to stay.
