The rooms are really spacious, which is a plus if you like having room to spread out. The hotel takes up two floors of the building in Wuse, and B2B Restaurant is upstairs on the top floor. It’s a good location. The staff were respectful and courteous, though their professionalism could use a little training.

The place has a lovely, calm atmosphere, it’s clean, and the staff are welcoming. Still, the breakfast buffet was the same every day for my six-day stay: bread, diced sausage, plain omelette, baked beans, a slice of watermelon or pineapple, and iced tea. The TV kept switching off and on the whole time, which was frustrating. Noise from the room above came through the thin ceiling so clearly I could hear even a pin drop. I enjoyed the stay despite all that, and would recommend them if they address these issues.

I haven’t stayed in the rooms. I go to Bombay to Beirut (B2B) for meals, especially for the rooftop terrace and its lovely view over Abuja. The Indian and Lebanese food is nice.

I stopped by B2B Restaurant on the fourth floor of Phoenicia Suites and had a pleasant visit. It’s just opening, and the hotel looks peaceful, with friendly staff. I hear the rooftop parties at the penthouse bar make it more fun at night, so hopefully I’ll come back then.

Opened in July 2019, the hotel is in a quiet, secure spot and the whole property is clean. My room was spacious and tidy, with good furniture and a big, comfortable bed. The staff were helpful and friendly. There’s free continental breakfast and a complimentary drink, and you can order tasty food from the City View Restaurant to your room. I’m very happy with my stay and would recommend it to anyone looking for a quiet, secure place in Abuja.
