Pridemark Hotel

The AC was off in the afternoon even though there was power, because they were running a small generator. I was sweating while waiting for NEPA or for nightfall, and there weren’t even standing fans available as an alternative. The water I’d left in the fridge was gone too. It was a really bad stay for me, especially on the day I was leaving. I’d left my key for cleaning and put my things away in the wardrobe so they wouldn’t be moved around. My beverages were on the table when I left, but when I returned they were missing. The cleaner said he hadn’t seen them. I asked for the manager, explained what I’d found, and felt she was indirectly calling me a liar while backing her staff. She suggested I call my family to ask if they’d taken the drinks, among other things that didn’t make sense to me. I asked them to check the CCTV to see who had entered or left the room. The manager said the IT person wasn’t available, and nothing was done before I left. They talked about their reputation but gave no evidence and no solution. I don’t know if the outside cameras weren’t working or if she was just defending her staff, but it left me feeling accused. The complaint handling was poor, and the management seemed unable to deal with the situation.

The room was average and the electricity stayed on, but some toilets had water system problems. The water heaters were faulty, for example, and the floors didn’t slope toward the drain, so water couldn’t flow there properly.

It feels like a home away from home, with high hygiene standards and staff who respond well. The place is beautiful, and the rooms are quite affordable.

Big, very clean rooms and good staff. The power supply was really steady. There’s no WiFi.
