The Wuse II location was a shock. It’s in the raggedy Stallion Estate, possibly the ugliest part of Wuse II, and it looked poor when we pulled up. I didn’t feel safe. Inside, the apartment looked much better in the pictures. The two-bedroom suite felt small, and the flaws were obvious: cheap furniture, ragged cabinets, and a missing inside door frame on one bathroom so the door wouldn’t even close, let alone lock. It felt dingy. The Maitama location is nice enough, though its rooms need updating. Staff were often hard to reach and didn’t communicate with each other. I waited over two hours for the complimentary ride from Maitama to Wuse II, despite repeated assurances that it was on the way. The drive takes about 20 minutes. They hadn’t listed the address anywhere, so I couldn’t go directly. Eventually someone gave me the address and I arranged other transport. Only then did the driver show up, saying he hadn’t known we were waiting. They also failed to hold my reservation and cut my six-night stay to two because they sold the room to someone else. In hindsight, that was probably for the best. I was promised follow-up about the bathroom, but nobody ever contacted me. It felt like all they cared about was getting the booking and my money, not the stay itself. This place is mediocre at best, with much better service and quality elsewhere. One abysmal star.
