My booking was through agoda.com for March 27th, but the confirmation email showed March 26th for check-in. As soon as I spotted the mistake, I tried calling and emailing the property and got no reply. The booking platform's customer service agent also said they couldn't reach them. I arrived from the Airport on March 27th, and the staff said they had no booking for me. They wondered why the platform had charged me 263,000 naira for the Executive Suite, even though they were fully booked for the APC convention. There was no room, so I had to find a place to stay in Wuse. I still have no explanation or refund, but I keep getting emails asking me to share my experience at the property.

The room was comfortable and clean, though a little dated, and the staff were polite. Breakfast was okay. Residency Hotel in Garki, Abuja is centrally located and convenient, so it worked out as a fair option for a short stay.

I liked the quiet setting and the beautiful pool. The room felt worth the Executive Luxury Weekend Rate, though I'm not sure I'd pay the full price. Mine was on the 3rd floor, and there's NO LIFT! I felt bad for the staff member carrying my heavy boxes up the stairs. Still, it's a really nice place, so don't dismiss it just because of the location.

The staff made us feel like family. They were sweet, accommodating, and so attentive that I never had to ask twice. Fresh food could be ordered from the kitchen and brought to the room, and the drinks were very cold. My LDR boyfriend booked an executive room for our 4 night stay when I traveled to Nigeria 🇳🇬 to meet him. It was comfortable, with spacious, nice rooms, comfortable beds, a balcony I enjoyed, and lights, AC rooms, and water all the time. I’ll be back in Abuja in a few months and will stay here again. I love these workers. They made me feel so comfortable 😌
