The room had everything I needed, and the surroundings were peaceful and felt safe. It was clean, comfortable, and well maintained, and the friendly staff made things easy from check-in through check-out. I had a great stay and would happily come back when I’m in Abuja.

A convenient hotel if you’re handling visa paperwork, since it’s in the diplomatic area and close to the Canada, USA, and Ivory Coast Embassies in Abuja. It’s easily reached from Nnamdi Azikiwe airport, and the hotel itself is cool.

The map description brought me close, but it wasn’t accurate enough and I had trouble finding the place. A better landmark is the Defence Headquarters entrance. The road directly opposite Defence HQ has a number of Embassies, including China, British, USA, Ghana, Niger, and Senegal. The envoy hotel is between the Embassies along that road. You can ask a security operative for directions.
