The Nordic Villa

We felt safe and well looked after for all ten days we stayed at Nordic Villa in Abuja in November 2025 for the Koinonia General Assembly Convention. The room was clean, comfortable, and nicely designed, and the whole place was quiet and secure. We’d gladly return and recommend it for longer stays, events, or conventions. The people made a big difference. Everyone was polite and kind, and Mrs. Patience, the manager, was especially attentive. She checked on us often, arranged transport, and even found us a keke so we could ride one to and from the mall. Ms. Patience in the kitchen was also thoughtful and regularly made sure we were doing well. The gate staff and night security were professional and helped us feel safe. Joseph and the rest of the kitchen team were wonderful, too. We often got back late because of the convention, but they still made meals for us without hesitation, from jollof rice to something as simple as peanut butter. Their jollof rice was the best we’ve ever tasted, and my wife particularly loved the chicken with it. Mr. Thomas drove us to the museum, ran errands with us, and took us to the mall and Abuja arts and crafts market. He was patient, professional, and safe on the road. He also knew a lot about Nigeria, and we enjoyed talking with him.

The grounds are pleasant, with attractive greenery, and the staff were courteous. Most rooms are fine, while a couple are especially nice for the price. There’s also a free ride to their other hotel, where you can use the restaurant with more choices and the gym.

Patience at the front desk was amazing, and Charity in the kitchen was wonderful too. It’s a beautiful, peaceful place, and the people there are some of the nicest I’ve met.

I had a nice time here. The space is beautiful, and the customer service was excellent. The staff member helping me was responsive and useful, so I’d recommend staying here.
