The hotel felt nice and secure, and the live band was great. The vegetable soup was delicious, but meals took about 5 hours to arrive. We couldn’t order anything else because staff said they wouldn’t be able to handle more orders. There also wasn’t any drinking water during our stay, and since it was late at night, we couldn’t go out to find some. The staff who were there didn’t seem friendly, maybe because they were understaffed.

The rooms were lovely, but the staffing needs work. I waited at reception for over an hour before a woman appeared. She seemed unsure what to do, and I later learned she was the chef. A chef covering reception doesn’t seem right. This part of the hotel needs improvement.

The hotel is in a peaceful spot, though the network can be poor enough to stop you making calls or browsing. Once we checked in, management provided Wi-Fi, which helped. Power came from the inverter during the day and a generator at night. The AC didn’t stay on all night, but the fan made up for it. It was a good one-night stay.

The main issue during my one-night stay was the unreliable electricity, which meant the room ACs couldn’t run for long. The beds were cozy, the rooms spotless, and the pool area had a pleasant feel. The menu was delicious, and the staff were friendly, especially Rosemary. For a hotel in Arochukwu village, the stay was okay, though the power problem brought it down.

The environment was nice, and the mattresses were very good. But Chinyelo, the manager, was so rude. Her customer service was horrible, and I don’t think she’s fit to lead the staff or manage the hotel. She also seemed unintelligent.
