We’re international visitors from Austria and live in Vienna, so the name “Vienna Hotel” caught our attention. We wanted to know what food the restaurant serves and whether it was open, since we aren’t used to every kind of cuisine and care about having suitable choices. The receptionist’s reply was disinterested and came across as inappropriate. She just said, “Ask in the back,” and offered no help. In hospitality, how information is given matters as much as the information itself. Staff would benefit from better hospitality and customer service training. After that interaction, we left right away.

I’m so disappointed and heartbroken that I spent 40,000 on this rubbish. This is the worst hotel stay I’ve ever had, and I regret not checking reviews of Vienna hotel before paying and staying yesterday. The staff were rude and unprofessional, or just indifferent. The room facilities were below basic, especially the bathroom: the wash basin was completely detached from the wall, the plumbing was bad, and they ignored it. When I turned on the tap and shower, water leaked everywhere and flooded the bathroom. The advertised breakfast buffet was a joke. You’re forced to have one particular combination, while the person serving acts as if you’re a thief ordering food you haven’t paid for.

I only saw the place and didn’t stay there. There were too many steps and corners, which wouldn’t be convenient for someone with a physical disability or claustrophobia.

They played loud music the whole time. The hotel was so noisy I couldn’t get any rest.

The rooms are nicely designed, the staff are lovely, and the location is good. The bathrooms could use a facelift to fit the look of the room decor. Otherwise, it’s good value for money.
