Blue Apple Hotel

I went mainly for a swim, but the pool wasn’t clean, and the dark purple tiles made it look too dark. I even spotted three tiny frogs in the water while swimming. For that level of service, it was expensive. The hotel is fairly large, but it felt lifeless and underused.

It’s a well-situated place with a good structure, but service was very poor when I visited. There was no intercom, towel, kettle for hot water, teacup, or beverages. When I asked for a towel, I was given wet ones on two nights in a row and told to manage. I hope they do better by my next visit.

The building is nice, but it’s gradually falling apart. The pool was neat, though don’t be surprised if a toad swims beside you. It needs a complete overhaul and fumigation. Restoring it to its former glory would make a lot of sense.

I enjoyed the restaurant’s look, and the staff were polite. There’s a spa and a pool, and my spa session went well. The hotel also has good-sized, spacious rooms.
