Ovic is well situated and has a nice view, with well-trained staff. The kitchen team really needs to manage order times better, though. The wait can be crazy.

It was a nice, quiet apartment and seemed to meet the standard. I know improvements are still happening, so I hope to stay there again.

The staff made me feel especially welcome. The hotel itself is lovely, with a beautiful setting and a great location.

I stopped in Benin City for the night while travelling on to Lagos, and had a good stay. Everything was fine apart from two fixable things: there was bath gel but no hand soap for after using the restroom, and laundry at N1000 per item seemed unusually expensive.

The staff were superb, though the hotel itself was only half decent. My one-star rating comes from the strong damp smell in the room and management procedures that felt rigid, unreasonable, and unsatisfactory.
