Victoria Inn Hotel And Suites

It’s a calm, very neat place with one of the best hospitality experiences in Ugbor Benin City. The establishment is beautiful, the staff are nice, and security is good. There’s standby power, free Wi-Fi, a very clean pool, and even a mini aquarium. The bar also has lots of exotic drinks, and the convenience is very clean.

The hotel looks nice in photos, but the service is very poor. My room was too small for 16,500, and the food was unnecessarily expensive. When the water stopped running, I called again and again and was promised someone would come fix it. I finally had to go downstairs and yell before anyone was sent. They said the person pumping water had already left 😂😂😂😂. Parking is very limited, too. Don’t organize an event there, because the rude security will tell your guests to park outside.

The rooms are comfortable and nice 👌, but staying in 302 for 1wk, close to the bar, was rough. The bar noise was terrible even on weekdays, and the guys there seemed to have no idea what music to play. I had to take panadol whenever I woke up. Parking is limited, staff often forget their duties, and the cleaner kept forgetting to leave a towel in the bathroom, so I had to call every time. The network was poor too. I couldn’t get on Netflix, and the Wi-Fi was only useful for messages, with uploads and downloads not working. I had to go outside the hotel ( mat ice) for my zoom meetings.

It was the worst experience I can imagine. The workers harassed my sisters and me just because we were standing in the compound waiting for a cab to take us home. I expected better management, but they really need to give the workers thorough orientation.
