Power stayed on around the clock, and when public electricity went out the switch was quick. The rooms were clean and looked after, and it's centrally placed, handy for getting to businesses and malls. A nice, affordable spot to relax, though there's no pool or gym.

The surroundings were very dirty, and the hotel was noisy and badly run. My husband and I had booked three nights but left after two, and I won't return. The room was tiny, the bathroom setup was poor, and the cupboard was broken throughout, so I asked them to take it out. Food service was awful too: after two hours they said they had run out of palm oil, and breakfast took three hours to arrive. Very poor service all around.

It's in a central spot, so getting to the places that matter in Calabar is easy. The rooms are roomy, clean, and well maintained, and there's power all day and night. Very good.

There's no pool or gym, but the electricity was impressive: when public power failed, the changeover was quick and supply continued 24 hours. The rooms were clean and cared for, and it's central for reaching businesses and malls. A decent budget place to stay.
