Hotel 45

This is a small, pretty boutique hotel in a peaceful setting. The staff were friendly, but service was poor. They're good people who could use some customer service training. Our suite wasn't ready because the AC needed repairs, so check-in was delayed by 1 hour 30 mins. The room cleaning was also poorly done, and we had to supervise the cleaner ourselves to get it properly cleaned. Then, for two days in a row, staff tried to fix the intercom at inconvenient times, including while we were asleep or bathing.

The room was very good, with lots of space, a roomy bathroom, hot water and a lovely ambience. The rest of the food was okay, but the stew tasted like raw tomatoes. The breakfast was rubbish, almost as if we'd forced them to provide it. On our second morning they gave us one very thin slice of bread and one egg, with no butter or anything 😒 We stayed two nights and were woken very early the next morning to pay for the food we'd eaten the night before, as if we were going to run away 😂. Three stars for the room, but the food let them down.

A quiet, nice place to chill and mind your own business.

It's a great place to stay. The interior is superb, the location is pristine, and the compound is clean. The staff are well trained, and you can tell the whole hotel was designed with real architectural thought.
