I found the service disappointing and wouldn’t recommend staying here. Water stopped running several times, some of the AC units didn’t work, and there was a table in the room but no chair. Towels were missing, and toiletries were provided only sparingly. They also didn’t change the sheets regularly, saying they weren’t dry. Some guests kept smoking around the property despite the no-smoking signs on the room doors, and management did nothing. They don’t seem to understand hospitality.

The hotel is in a quiet, secure area and is conveniently close to major spots in Enugu town. But I didn’t enjoy my stay because service was poor and most staff seemed unconcerned about guests’ comfort. Although management says smoking isn’t allowed in rooms, some occupants smoked without being cautioned. The maintenance problems were obvious: a faulty shower, stained towels, and tap water that smelled of chlorine. My room had a broken stool, no wardrobe hangers, and a TV remote that didn’t work. The AC was centrally controlled, so I couldn’t adjust the temperature myself.

I was so uncomfortable that I left in the same clothes I’d arrived in, even though I’d come to celebrate. The food seemed spoiled, and I couldn’t manage even one spoonful. The towels had stains and holes, the mattress was hard and lumpy, and I had to ask staff for pillowcases. The water was dirty, so I asked management to bring some; the water they fetched was still brown and smelled bad. I’ve never written a review before, but please think twice before staying here and save your money. I can’t believe this is called a hotel. I also suspect that some of the other reviews were written by the owners’ family and friends.

Staff were friendly, and the food order arrived promptly, but the choices were limited and they didn’t always have what I wanted, so I had to settle for what was available. The room wasn’t cleaned during our stay, and the electricity kept cutting out. It wasn’t a good experience.
