On 8/10/26 I booked two deluxe rooms through hotelng.com and paid with a foreign card. The money was debited straight away, and hotelng sent a confirmation email. About 45 minutes later, the hotel called to say the rooms I’d booked and paid for were no longer available. I turned down their offer to find me other hotels at the same price. I’ve asked them to process a full refund right away, since I need the money to find somewhere else. I’ll keep everyone posted.

I had a great experience overall. The only drawback was weak internet reception, and the hotel Wi-Fi wasn’t working.

I don’t usually leave reviews, but this stay pushed me to it. The lights kept going off, and mobile reception around here was poor. They have Starlink, luckily, but it only works when there’s power, not when the generator is running. The water supply was bad too. By the time I wrote this, I’d booked another hotel because I couldn’t stay here another night.

The room, bed, and AC were good, and security seemed solid. But check the appliances yourself, since some might not work and the staff won’t necessarily tell you. The heater in the room I paid for, room 8108, was completely broken. We had to shower in cold water that morning, at this time of year in Enugu. Parking is very limited. I ended up leaving my car outside the hotel gate all night.

It’s a quiet, pleasant residential spot in Enugu, and the hotel is kept very clean. The building isn’t especially large, and there isn’t much parking, but it still has several places to relax, including a gym, swimming pool, and bar. The rates are quite reasonable too.
