Nafelis Hotel Enugu

There are lots of plants and trees around the cozy space. The event hall is also well suited to weddings, birthdays, and other celebrations.

The staff were courteous and friendly, but the water pressure was quite low and the bathrooms could be cleaner. On a later visit, the pressure had improved, though the bathrooms still needed more cleaning and the linen and towels weren't as white as they should be. The hotel's standard seems to keep slipping. The kitchen staff still didn't know how to make an omelette when I returned, and there was no supervisor or manager around to deal with my concerns about the front desk staff's attitude. Even when I came back at night, nobody in management was on duty. It says a lot about how the place is managed. I'm not going back.

I spoke at an event in the conference hall. It was spacious, and the lighting and air conditioning were okay. I didn't get a chance to tour the hotel grounds.

Nafelis hotel is beautiful, but service is painfully slow. When I ordered food, it took about an hour or more to arrive. The bathtub in my room sloped down, so standing in it felt like walking on a downhill road. They'd put a tiny bath mat in there, with almost no grip. Add soap and water, and it felt like a bad fall waiting to happen. I fell twice. It wasn't funny. They wrote my order amount on a piece of paper instead of giving me a bill, so how could I know it wasn't made up? And I wasn't given a receipt after paying. Really?
