I’ve stayed here at least three times over the past three years, including in a superior room. It’s a mid-range hotel with a decent level of service, much like others in the country. I’ve run into a TV remote that didn’t work and an in-dining order that arrived incorrectly. Still, the staff were all especially courteous, and the bedding has always been clean. I like the artwork from reception through the rooms. I asked for a quiet room and got one. Mostly, it met my expectations because it’s in a safe area away from Ibadan’s bustle.

The customer service is one of the main things I love about this hotel. The rooms, especially the luxury room, are beautiful, and the service and everything inside the place impressed me. One of the best hotels I’ve seen.

Breakfast comes with the room, and the staff are great. The setting and atmosphere are lovely, too. Good value for money. Why pay more? I’d recommend it any day.

The seafood okra was the one good thing I found here. The food is very expensive, though that’s expected. The pool wasn’t clean enough to swim in, and the room quality was poor. I had to change rooms, but the replacement still wasn’t good enough. The bathroom smelled odd, and the visitors’ bathroom in my suite had used tissue left in it. The TV picture was terrible, like something from the 1970s. Staff kept asking, “anything for the boys”.

The room included breakfast for two, which was a first for me since hotels usually offer breakfast for just one. The food was decent, about a 7/10. It’s a cute hotel with a great atmosphere and vibe. Ibadan residents sometimes come by to spend the evening, so poolside noise can be distracting. You can ask for a room on the other side of the hotel.
