Capital Citilodge

I was really impressed by the room standard for the price. For a budget hotel, this is one of the best I've seen. I heard it was supposed to be a driver's lodge for guests staying at Capital Inn directly opposite, but the rooms here are superb.

I've walked past for years without realizing there was a hotel here, probably because the popular one opposite gets all the attention. Citilodge hotel is lovely inside, with spacious rooms and bathrooms, a big wardrobe, and a dressing area. They should invest more in advertising, or maybe rebrand and relaunch, so people find out about the place.

The top floors aren't wheelchair accessible, though the ground floor works quite well. There's plenty of parking, free Wi-Fi, and backup power all day and night. Staff were keen to help, the rooms are nicely finished, and the tap has hot water. It's pocket friendly, and the taste is exquisite. One of the best hotels I've visited in Ibadan, and, most importantly, no free breakfast.

A calm setting and a decent place to stay. The staff were very helpful, and I liked my stay. The pool, which is in the hotel across the road, wasn't available when I visited.
