I only went to Mataan Hotel for a social function, so I haven’t explored the whole place. It has an impressive building and sits along Akobo-Olorunda road. With the newly built road nearby, it could make a good getaway for visitors.

The event center toilet is in really bad shape. It clearly hasn’t been maintained.

Nice hotel, but management needs to do much more to satisfy customers, even to an 80% level. We booked 13 rooms for six days, and they only put on the AC the first day we arrived. I reported it to the manager, who kept saying they were working on it, but was just deceiving us.

A dirty, unworthy place to stay. Nothing works, and there’s no power. At 3am it was completely dark and hot. A total waste of money.

My wedding night in a warm, cozy standard room was lit!
