The place is kept neat, though the building has an older design. The service is excellent.

The food was good, though there was no fish on offer, perhaps because meat is cheaper in the current economic situation. My room was cleaned on time, and the staff were very friendly. The rooms could use renovation, and nighttime noise from other guests was sometimes a burden. Power wasn't available around the clock, but the generator ran from 6pm to 8am when PHCN was out. I managed with that. It was an average stay, and enough for me at the time.

The staff's attitude toward customers is great and encouraging, and I'd still like to come back. The hotel itself needs a major overhaul: the facilities have aged and need changing, and the walls need fresh paint. It was okay, with those shortcomings.
