I told the manager how bad things were, and he said he’d move my things to another room. When I came back, they were still in the same room, and by then it was too late to find another hotel. The bathroom and toilet were falling apart and clearly lacked maintenance. The place was so dirty: the bed cover and duvet were filthy, and there were more cockroaches in the room than I could count. It was a miserable experience. I wouldn’t want my enemy to spend even an hour there, and I’d never go back.

There were cockroaches all over the room by morning, and they kept me awake all night. It felt like a war zone. I’d planned to stay three weeks, but lasted one night and left before 7:30 am, without even waiting until checkout at noon. If I could give zero stars, I would. Never again.

The customer service was top notch, and the management system was well organized. I recommend it.

The AC works well, but the floor maintenance is poor. The tiles look like they haven't been washed since 1990. If you're using the toilet, don't count on the DC. Get water from the tap to flush, or you might be waiting until the next Eke market day for it to refill.

The staff were kind and well mannered, and the food was good. It also felt fairly secure, and the price was affordable. The rooms were the letdown: neither of the two I paid for had a working bathroom water heater, the decor was average, and they weren't very clean. That's why I gave it three stars. They should improve the room cleanliness. I do recommend Britannia Hotel and Suites.
