The towels were dingy and really not clean, and the cleaners need to do better. Some rooms also have unpleasant smells, maybe from previous smokers, and they don’t air out well. For this standard of room, it’s expensive. The strangest thing was where they’d put the toilet brush. Wow.

The staff were polite, friendly and happy to help, but the building and rooms need thorough maintenance, and management could do better. In a posh Lagos neighbourhood, the service is best thought of as budget-hotel level. Avoid Room 320, you’ll thank me later.

I really enjoyed my stay. The staff were courteous, the food was amazing, and it felt like great value for the money. It’s a good hotel.

BWC is underrated, in my opinion. The staff get along like siblings, and I had a great experience. This should absolutely be a five-star hotel.

We paid upfront for accommodation, but when we arrived they said there was no space. Since they couldn’t provide the stay we’d booked and paid for, we asked for our money back. They still haven’t refunded us for the unused stay. Absolutely shocking.
