8/10
The location worked well, with local attractions and public transport nearby. At Encore Lagos Hotel & Suites, the room was modern, clean, and roomy, and the bed was comfortable. The staff were friendly and attentive, and the service was top-notch. I'd happily come back and recommend it.
2/10
The neighborhood feels suspect, and the power goes out about every 20 minutes, literally. I know it's cheap, but the place is disgusting, especially the bathrooms, which nearly made me throw up. The photos are all outdated and seem to be from when it was first built. Stay away.
2/10
The generator was faulty and there was no light, which made an already poor stay worse. The rooms look lovely in the online photos and descriptions, but the reality was extremely disappointing. I checked every room and couldn't find a suitable one. Each had some problem, like leaking water, no tap water, or an air conditioner that didn't work. One room even had a pillar in the middle. Encore Lagos hotel is very poorly managed.
2/10
The generator is bad and keeps going off, and none of the air conditioning units were working. It was a bad experience. This hotel needs proper renovation.
10/10
The staff are efficient, and the place is clean and safe. It's very affordable too. I'd recommend it and will definitely visit again.
