The place is badly managed and very dirty. The rooms and the stairs are dusty, the bathrooms don’t work properly, there’s no water, and the AC units don’t work at all. The compound is filthy, and the manager lets hoodlums smoke there. Most of the staff have resigned. There are so many problems that need fixing, and it seems nobody goes there anymore.

I felt safe and at home here as a woman from the U.K. The owners are incredible, and the staff went out of their way for me, with help available day and night. The nightclub is fun for dancing or relaxing, and the food really is five-star. It’s listed as a three-star hotel, but for the price it feels luxurious, and I’d rate it five stars if the area were nicer. The road is a bit run down, but the location worked well for me because it’s close to everything I wanted to visit. There’s a police post right outside, which keeps area boys from hanging around for long. Free Wi-Fi, free breakfast, and constant electricity are included. This is a hidden gem in Lagos and should be on bookings.com.
Rooms here are neat and comfortable, with decent food and very good facilities. I was surprised by how cozy the hotel is, and customer service is good. There’s no pool, and prices are midrange, starting at N10,000. It’s easy to get to, and they do a good job keeping the power on during the frequent public outages. A solid option if you’re in the Sasha area. Hope they keep it up.
The housekeeping is on point, and the staff gave great service. The accommodation is comfortable and affordable. I also enjoyed the food: tasty, nicely presented, well prepared, and served promptly at any hour.
The atmosphere alone is enough to work up an appetite, though the power kept cutting out. I was hungry in the area, so Fort Ross Hotel came to the rescue with jollof rice and goat meat. The rice wasn’t too spicy or oily, and the meat had a light roast to it. Bring a face mask.
