It looks nothing like the photos. The place is old, dusty, and gross, though they still charge as if they were in their glory days. My food was terrible and gave me a running stomach. The fridge had black mold, the carpet was stained, the water and electricity kept cutting out, and the WiFi didn’t work. Just a deeply disappointing stay. I wouldn’t recommend it even at 50k a night.

At least the staff were decent and helped with my bag, which is why I gave two stars. The overpriced motel itself felt like an old, forgotten building on its last legs. I was the only guest when I stayed, and it looked like they hadn’t had a booking in ages. I wonder where the recent five-star reviews with all those carefully arranged photos are coming from 🤔. The classy room pictures were nothing like what I got. Morning couldn’t come soon enough. The whole experience was awful.

The entrance is wheelchair accessible, and the rooms were clean and tidy. They looked just like the location photos, with a contemporary feel that almost took me back in time. The furnishings were carefully done, and the staff were courteous and helpful. The road to the hotel is in very bad shape, so in the rainy season you may have to get through some mud. Apart from that, I had a great stay. I’d recommend it and will come back 😊

The room was very nice and the bed really comfortable, but there was no hot water for a shower. The geyser looked like it had been broken for a long time. Breakfast was meant to be served from 6 to 8, but wasn’t ready until 7:20.

The friendly people and attractive online photos were about the only good parts. HOS looks unusual and appealing in those doctored pictures, but what I found was a run-down place. I walked through all the rooms, and they were in the same condition. It felt like they might get a booking every three months, and now I can see why. The rooms were filthy, musty, and stuffy, and I couldn’t walk barefoot on the carpet. It was disgusting, covered in what looked like semen stains. Water stopped at random, electricity kept cutting in and out, WiFi was intermittent, and the AC couldn’t cool the room. The fridge was rusty and moldy, the restaurant had no staff, and even breakfast was mediocre. They also wouldn’t let you bring outside food, despite the restaurant being unstaffed. The gym was too hot and stuffy to work out in, and the pool was unkept. It feels like the same pattern you see at many facilities in Nigeria: things start out nice, then lack of maintenance leaves them old, broken, and gross. For something sold as luxury, paying 250k was a terrible waste. You’d be better off at a cheap motel, where at least you know what to expect, instead of paying for luxury pictures and getting an ultra-cheap motel’s quality and standards.
